Description: The first issue of the weekly newspaper Wir Brückenbauer, founded by Gottlieb Duttweiler, appeared on 30 July 1942, with the title alluding to Migros' role as a bridge builder between producers and consumers. It served as a communication organ of the Migros Cooperative Association and was addressed to the cooperative members. It started with a circulation of 110,000 but grew rapidly, reaching a circulation of over 200,000 copies by 1952. From 1987, the publication, which had previously been published in newspaper format, appeared in tabloid format and four-colour, before being renamed Migros Magazin in 2004. The first volume of the newspaper was not available at the time of scanning. It will be added in the following months, if possible.
First launched in 2020
