Description: A trade union newspaper of social democratic alignment. The Appenzeller weavers’ newspaper was the official organ of the Allgemeiner Verband der Seidenbeuteltuch-Weberei and the Appenzellischer Weberverband and was printed in folio format (Rheineck: Albert Indermaur). Its successor titles were the Ostschweizerische Industrie-Zeitung (1901-1904, printed in quarto, Albert Indermaur in Rheineck) and from 1904 the Textilarbeiter (Organ des Allgemeinen Schweizerischen Textil-Arbeiter-Verbandes.
