Description: Union newspaper of socialist orientation, official organ of the Fédération suisse des ouvriers sur métaux [Swiss Federation of Metal Workers] (from 03.6.1915 with the addition: et horlogers). The title was published every two weeks, initially in quarto format, then from 04.07.1908 in folio format. From 1906-1915 it was printed in Bern (Unionsdruckerei), then from 1916 La Chaux-de-Fonds (Imprimerie coopérative). In 1920 it changed its name: Le Métallurgiste became La Lutte syndicale. The newspaper had several supplements: A l'ouvrière (monthly, 02.02.1929-24.03.1931), La Technique (23.02.1929-15.08.1936), La Page de l'ouvrière (28.03.1931-25.12.1946), La Page des jeunes (20.10.1934-20.06.1936), La Page de la famille (from 06.01.1947). Continued by L'événement syndical (UNIA) from issue Year 79, 1 (28 April 1998). Editors included Achille Graber, Charles Hubacher and Achille Grospierre.
