Description: Published for the first time on May 3, 1839 during the politically troubled period of the Constituent Assembly, this conservative weekly, written by Abbot Paillet, has the particularity of being the first Valais title in the political press. Its title looks like a political programme, and unsurprisingly it was motivated by religious and patriotic values. It ceased publication on March 7, 1840.
