Description: A biweekly, published for the first time on December 12, 1906, the Courrier de Sierre wanted to be part of the development of the district of Sierre, its trade and its industry. "A good Catholic and always devoted to the economic, commercial and industrial interests of the district and the surrounding area," was how it specified its function: The Courrier was to be a "popular, industrial, commercial, agricultural, hotel, sports," newspaper, offering a summary of foreign news, and also aiming to become a literary platform for young local talent. It ceased publication in February 1909.
