Description: Distributed to 15,000 Upper Valais households from April 1998 onwards, the RZ: Regional Zeitung is a free newspaper entirely dedicated to news from the agglomerations of Brig-Glis, Naters, Visp and the surrounding areas. Initially published fortnightly, it became biweekly from 2002. In October 2003, it changed its name to become the RZ: RhoneZeitung Oberwallis, then RZ: RhoneZeitung in 2007, a name it still retains to this day. From 2005, it collaborates with the Nouvelliste following an agreement concluded between Rhône Media and ALPMEDIA, the publishers of the Nouvelliste and RZ respectively.
